Quick and Easy Jalapeno Boats Appetizer
A variation of the jalapeno popper, this recipe is very quick and easy to make. It works great as an appetizer served on a fun party tray or equally good as a side dish to go along with your main course. This recipe is simple enough to allow you to experiment with various seasonings and stuffings.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon Cajun powder
- 6 jalapeno peppers
Cooking Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a small mixing bowl combine cream cheese and Cajun powder and mix well
- Slice jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds and innards
- Fill each pepper slice with ½ ounce each of cream cheese mixture
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Serve
