Quick and Easy Jalapeno Boats Appetizer

A variation of the jalapeno popper, this recipe is very quick and easy to make. It works great as an appetizer served on a fun party tray or equally good as a side dish to go along with your main course. This recipe is simple enough to allow you to experiment with various seasonings and stuffings.

Ingredients

6 ounces cream cheese
1 teaspoon Cajun powder
6 jalapeno peppers

Cooking Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a small mixing bowl combine cream cheese and Cajun powder and mix well
Slice jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove seeds and innards
Fill each pepper slice with ½ ounce each of cream cheese mixture
Bake for 10 minutes
Serve
