Grilled Chili Rubbed Lobster with Jalapeno Peppers and Mandarin Oranges
Jalapeno peppers give lobsters the extra kick they need! Lobster is quite delicious by itself, but when you bring jalapeno peppers into the mix, it becomes out of this world! The next time you go for lobster, insist on some jalapeno peppers.
Ingredients
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 1 6-ounce lobster tail
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 cup mandarin oranges
Cooking Directions
- Cut the lobster tail shell down the middle and pull out the tail meat. Lay over the top. Do not separate.
- Rub the tail meat with chili powder.
- Set the tail on a medium-hot grill approximately 10 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque.
- In a small bowl, mix jalapeno peppers with mandarin oranges.
- Melt butter and mix with chili powder.
- To a serving plate, add the melted butter as a base.
- Add lobster and jalapeno-orange mixture.
- Serve!
Yeah, this came out great. I served mine with some garlic and feta mashed potatoes. so delicious.
