Monsto Nacho Pizza with Jalapenos
Came across a variation of this recipe on a handy recipe card that came with my pre-made pizza crust so we had to try it out. Of course we added in a bit more taco seasoning and other chili pepper powder, along with a healthy dose of jalapeno peppers for toppings. This nacho pizza recipe is very filling. Beware. You'll have to invite your friends over to help you finish it.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef (don't do like we did and use a whole pound!)
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1/2 can refried beans
- 1 12-inch pizza crust
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 2-3 jalapeno peppers, sliced into rings
Cooking Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and add taco seasoning with a couple tablespoons water. Cook meat through and mix thoroughly with your taco seasonings.
- Spread refried beans over pizza crust, leaving about a 1 inch border.
- Top with taco meat and cheese.
- Bake 8-10 minutes.
- Serve with slice jalapenos over the top! Perfect!
