Spicy Lobster Pasta with Jalapeno Peppers Recipe
We found inspiration for this recipe in a classic lobster thermidor recipe, which we love. Lobster thermidor takes several hours to make, but this recipe doesn't take nearly as long, and tastes just as great.

Ingredients
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- ½ pound lobster meat, chopped
- 2 egg yolks
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 5 ounces vermicelli pasta, prepared
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
- Season the lobster meat with chili powder and salt.
- Heat a sauté pan to medium heat.
- Add the jalapeno and 1 tablespoon butter.
- Saute about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook another 2 minutes or until garlic begins to brown.
- Add the lobster meat and sauté 5 minutes or until the lobster is cooked through.
- Remove the lobster mixture from heat and set aside.
- In a separate pan, melt the remaining butter and add the flour.
- Mix to form a roux.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the milk and egg yolks. Beat until they are mixed.
- Add your egg and milk mixture to the roux. Stir.
- Add your lobster mixture to the pan and reduce heat to medium-low.
- Toss to combine and serve with prepared pasta.
